Mobile machinery
Mobile machinery are exempt from the scope (§ 2 paragraph 2 number 8 ). But prerequisite for this is that the machine
- can only be used exclusively in other than private households,
- has its own electricity supply for mobility and
- is constantly on the move during the working process or can be driven to diverse work places.
Thus tractor and self-driving work machines used for farming and in forestry (e.g. combine harvesters), aerial platforms and street building machinery do not fall in scopie of the ElektroG. But e.g. a vacuum cleaner does not count as a mobile machine.
